The standard expedition lasts 5 days/4 nights, but other itineraries are also available, including an 8-day/7-night expedition to Costa Rica and Panama. This cruise can also be incorporated into a broader trip to Costa Rica, allowing you to extend the experience by exploring other regions of the country.

Boarding in Golfito
Your cruise begins in Golfito, in the heart of Golfo Dulce. After you’re welcomed at the marina and settled aboard the yacht, the crew will walk you through the itinerary for the expedition.
The yacht then leaves the harbor for its first voyage through the rainforest and calm waters. The day ends with dinner on board as you watch the sunset.

Untouched mangroves, kayaking, and secluded beaches
You’ll head to Los Mogos for a day of nature and relaxation. Accompanied by a nature guide, you’ll explore the mangroves of the Río Esquinas by kayak—a refuge for many species of birds, monkeys, and reptiles.
Lunch is served on a secluded beach. The afternoon is free to enjoy the yacht, go for a swim, try stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relax.

Coral Reefs of Golfo Dulce and Cocoa
Off the coast of Punta Adela, you’ll discover a coral reef that is the focus of an ecological restoration program. Golfo Dulce is an exceptional marine area home to numerous species of tropical fish
After lunch on board, you’ll stop in Puerto Jiménez to visit a family-run finca where cacao has been cultivated for several generations. You’ll follow the various stages of processing the fruit before enjoying a tasting of artisanal chocolate and tropical fruits.

The iconic Corcovado National Park
You’ll disembark at La Sirena to explore Corcovado National Park with a naturalist guide.
The trails wind through a particularly lush rainforest, where you can spot monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatis, and, with a little luck, tapirs. The tour offers a chance to appreciate the diversity of the Osa Peninsula’s ecosystems while enjoying an easy hike.
After lunch, the yacht sets sail again for Bahía Drake. The afternoon is spent relaxing on board.

Snorkeling at Isla del Caño and the end of the expedition
On this final day, the yacht drops anchor off Isla del Caño, one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful marine reserves.
With a mask and snorkel, you can explore exceptionally well-preserved coral reefs. During the season, it’s not uncommonto spot humpback whales in the waters surrounding the island!
After one final sail and lunch served on board, it’s time to disembark at Bahía Drake. End of the expedition.
