Day 1 : Juan Santamaria Airport
Welcome to Costa Rica!
Your driver will be waiting for you at Juan Santamaria International Airport, near San Jose, at 1,150 meters above sea level in the heart of the Central Valley to take you to your hotel. Meet your private Spanish speaking driver who will accompany during this part of your stay. Drive from San José to Monteverde.
Departure to the alpine pasture landscapes of the Monteverde region in the heart of the Tilarán mountain range.
Arrival in Monteverde situated near multiple nature reserves, 800 – 1800 meters above sea level.

Day 2 : Monteverde Reserve
Guided tour of the Santa Elena Biological Reserve
Accompanied by a local guide, enjoy a morning hike in the heart of the Biological Reserve of Santa Elena and it’s Cloud Forest, one of the most humid areas of the country.Wander amongst the opulent vegetation, where moss covered trees seem almost prehistoric.
It’s the perfect opportunity to observe exotic birds and animals living in the forest and to admire the stunning views of the Arenal volcano and the Guanacaste plains.

Thrills guaranteed! Explore the canopy as you zip-line along cables from one platform to another (a series af 18 platforms with a total length of 5 km). This tour not only combines the thrill of one of Costa Rica’s most exciting activities, but also provides a unique vantage point of the cloud forest, a view previously reserved for the most courageous of scientists brave enough to climb up to the forest canopy.
Then take a 3 kilometer trail through the forest via suspension bridges over the canopy. Enjoy the breathtaking views while crossing a total of 8 bridges (50 to 170 meters long)!

Produced by a high concentration of plankton emitting light, bio-luminescence occurs in dark places when water is in motion. Day 4 : Isla Jesuita
Drive from Isla Chiquita to Santa Teresa/Montezuma.
Cross the Nicoya Peninsula, a place that looks like an African Savannah during the Costa Rican summer, along the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Ocean to Santa Teresa / Montezuma.

Tortuga Island Snorkeling Tour!
At 9:00AM board a boat that will take you to Isla Tortuga. Approximately 40 minutes crossing.
Whitened by the sun, this magnificent private nature reserve off Curú is actually composed of two twin islets: Isla Tolinga and the desrted Isla Alcatraz.
Isla Tortuga is surrounded by white sand beaches that plunge into bright turquoise blue waters. Free time to relax in a hammock while sipping a local cocktail or enjoy the warm waters ideal for snorkeling.
After a tasty lunch, head back to the hotel around 4:00PM.
