Next, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a night hike through the forest. At nightfall, you’ll meet up with a nature guide for a hike in search of animals that take advantage of the calm and darkness to emerge from their hiding places.

Early in the morning, you’ll set out with a local guide through the reserve’s gardens and marshes before entering the tropical rainforest. The lodge is fortunate to be the natural habitat ofthe Ambigua macaw and many other bird species.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit the lodge’s vegetable garden and have the opportunity to plant a tree on the property. If you’d like, you can also explore the lagoon on your own using the canoes and kayaks provided (without a guide).
